Catskills Garden
An ongoing project based in the Western Catskills. A former 1800’s parsonage tucked into a historic hamlet in the Catskills is the location of this project where we have been creating gardens to settle the house into the landscape and introduce a richness of experience through naturalistic plantings.
Work involved re-grading for water management and the general usability of the site. We have gently contoured the sloping site using terraced areas softened with plantings and introduced various areas to relax and entertain. Upcoming phases involve a vegetable garden and turning unused lawn into meadow.
